  • The night crews are the unsung heroes of this shit company!

  • Safeway is a joke! Im an employee and all they seem to care about are "secret shops" Safeway needs to ask their employees on how it should be run.I have brought up many problems to my managers lights are out, somethings not working; and seem to ignore me....If Safeway wasn't so focused on the "shops" maybe they would realize they are wasting millions of dollars with open refrigeration in the produce section and drinks. I also have a disabled who works at my store and they treat her like shit.

  • @apwarrior99 Wll it freaking sucks for one your everyones bitch and yeah it sucks you get bitched at for everything doesnt matter if someone else did it, it always comes back to you and you get used ALOT SAFEWAY IS FUCKING STUPID!!

  • Hahah ahhhhhhhh BULLLSHIT i have worked at SAFEWAY for quite sometime and they are the most stupidist self ritious assholes ever they dont work as a team thats bullshit its every man for itself so yeah dont ever work there it blows and it sucks they have no diversity what so ever I mean yeah everyone can work there but treated equal no I THINK NOT!!

  • Do not tell ANYONE there anything that u wouldn't feel comfortable sharing with everyone in the store, because eventually, everyone will hear it. There are no secrets there. Everyone knows everyone, & they know only what u allow them to know about u. By the end of probation, you will develop a hatred for people in general, & Safeway as a whole. Just read these comments, & ask yourself if it's worth it, or not.

  • @apwarrior99- if you really need the money, then go for it. Just make sure you waste no time looking for another job, so you can get out soon. Once you start, you'll be on probation for 3 months. This is the time you're supposed to 'wow' them. Never be late, always stay over, or come in early if they call u. Do not call in for ANYTHING, & do not argue with management (it will be tempting because of their lack of consideration, & intelligence, but not a good idea.

  • @PowerIsOwnage, just a correction we dont use the disabled...we work with them( persons with disability)

  • can someone tell me how it is being a courtesy clerk at Safeway? There's 9 openings here in town and suprisingly, no one wants to work there...it must be from all these comments and reasons posted...i was going to apply, but I just wanna make sure that I know what I'm getting myself into..plz reply 2 my comment :)..btw, do the managers force workers to work late nights?

  • Correction: The employees are not disabled. They are excellent. The Management are retards.
