Pete Townshend and Lou Reed perform together for the first time during Attic Jam at Joe's Pub in New York. Attic Jam is a series of small acoustic based concerts put on by Pete and his partner Rachel Fuller. Townshend and Reed play a Velvet Underground classic 'White Light/White Heat.'

  • You're both kinda right, but it's a Carvin or something. Solidbody, flat-top Tele shaped body, Gibson style headstock. Twin humbuckers....kind of a hybrid I guess.

  • You can get a pretty good look at Reed's guitat at 2:52.

    To my eye it looks more like a Gibson than a Fender. Check out the head.

  • I couldn't get a good look at Lou's ax.... is he playing a Teley????

  • I can't imagine two more enigmatic rock personalities sharing the same stage.

  • don´t know thy pete don´t tried to do the "WHITEE LIGHTT" vocal line that was made by Cale :(
