Does Xbox live somehow keep a tally of how much money and points you earn or something?

I've made it so after i end up losing a set amount,such as 15,000+,from attaining no trips,that i restart my game with the dashboard button to avoid saving after closing out my game. The result? It still manages to save my fucking game somehow. I don't get it! Is Xbox live keeping a tally on its servers or something?

Does it save the game when signed on Xbox live,without your knowing? Anyone have this?

Im in 81,000 gold in debt i have all achievements that's why i have a big debt well i rolled the dice about 4 times. i got trips on the fourth time. now i have 60,000 in debt if i repeat hopefully i will have more than enough to get out of debt with some extra gold. ^^
