i played this at my dads funneral 10 months ago, it makes me shiver and cry everytime i listen it, i love and miss my dad so much, he was my bestest ever friend xxxx

All great, but Colm Wilkinson just has that extra emotion in his voice and bearing, even being fairly old now... (I may be slightly biased as Colm was who I first saw on stage and has forever epitomised Valjean for me)

Alfie may have the voice, but the others have the emotion and poise of their character.. Regardless, those 4 are the benchmark. All 4 deserve equal gratitude.
