Saint John (Maximovitch) of Shanghai and San Francisco, also John (Maximovitch) the Wonderworker (1896–1966) was a noted Eastern Orthodox ascetic and hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) who was active in the mid-20th century. He was a pastor and spiritual father of high reputation and a reputed wonderworker to whom was attributed great powers of prophecy, clairvoyance and healing, and he is often referred to simply as "St. John the Wonderworker."

Last name is Masksimovic(ć, ch is also aceptable), not Maximovich, he is from a Serbian aristocratic family from Russia, they returned 1918 to Serbia...

I love the Icon of St John holding the icon of Tsar Nicholas II, my namesake. priceless. I would love to find that one. I gave my icon of the Tsar to a Russian-American family who has fallen away from the Orthodoxy into Protestantism. I hope the presence of the Holy St John Maximovitch has blessed them the way I had hoped. All is as it should be.
