What is utterly mind-bending is that not only was this 100% fan made, it was done in Super 8mm and used no computers! The attention to detail, such as the way her breasts bounce when she flexes her arms (1:55) or the way the tree branches bend slightly when they sprout (3:40), to say nothing of the explosion (3:04), puts some of today's animation to shame.

gurren laggan did pretty well, pswg was hilarious, though I dont think they will do anything quite as good as flcl, im speaking in terms of post anno projects.
