    March 1973 - The last American combat soldiers leave South Vietnam...

    May 9th, 1973 - the first news reports of the AVE Mizar Flying Pinto unveiled to the public and to start test flights.

    Hard to believe it was considered for Vietnam when test flights hadn't even been conducted yet.

    My family (Smolinski) invented and admittedly wrecked this. It was the space age, a little forgiveness? His offspring, and now the next generation love airplanes. At least we are consistent.

    this was going to be use in the James bond movie the Man with the golden gun but then the car itself separated from the Cessna component. you can see a clip of the pinto in flight on the top grear episode 50 years of Bond cars
