@Dukabor I have so many live Linda performances from the 70s and it was always a given that Andrew and Kenny were at her side. I corresponded with Dan a few times last year. Very nice man. He even sent me his CD called "Off White," his acoustic tribute to the Beatles White Album. He played all the instruments and covered each song beautifully.

I never tire of listening to this song. Especially watching her perform it live. Linda is unbelievable. Beautiful voice and look at those eyes! RIP Andrew and Kenny.
BTW..that's Dan Dugmore on the other lead guitar. He played guitar and pedal steel for Linda for many years.

Both Andrew Gold and bassist Kenny Edwards have left us, and both due to cancer. Too, too sad.
As regards Andrew's musical talents however, and perhaps ironically, despite growing up in a house full of classically trained musicians, he couldn't read a note!! LOL!! Yet he could play any string instrument by ear, and was a pretty fair percussionist. I've always been fascinated by that sort of "wild" talent that defies all logic.

So sweet. I guess I need to read the paper more cuz I just found out today that Andrew Gold passed away at the beginning of June. I feel kind of old today.
