@andrefederhen Na verdade havia mais de uma mãe nesse bando... elas pariam mais ou menos na mesma época e cuidavam juntas dos filhotes... cada fêmea paria mais ou menos uns 5 filhotes por vez...

*sigh* i do hope they ALL don't live in the same cage. I will admit, even though i don't want to, seeing all those adorable gerbils gave me a little chuckle.

For sure they don't live in the same cage... Well, actually they live in a vivarium and it has more than 1 meter. They have a lot of space to run, jump and dig, just like they do in the nature. I'm a veterinarian, specialized in Wild and Exotic Animals, so don't worry about them! They're in good hands.
Oh! I forgot to say! They were in the box just because a I was cleaning their vivarium and there are ONLY FEMALES! =D
