there is no difference really- both versions were made by haneke, and he just shot the same movie, frame by frame, again. just with american actors, and they are as brilliant as the austrian ones. it's a hard decision and an easy one too, because you can't pick the wrong version ;)

The remake was fucking stupid. I skimmed through it. It is a very boring movie. It will mess with the average person head..I guess... But rly this doesnt fuck with my head at all. maybe if they had made it realistic. I know for sure I would have put those kids down. QUICK. fuck that. the kid running in circles was stupid. the girl running away and somehow getting caught. idk. this is just stupid. I could predict everything that was ab to happen. not worth your time imho
