California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger told Hub Culture's Edie Lush that although getting a global deal on Climate Change is important, all of the smart green actors have moved way past waiting for a treaty. So-called sub national groups like California are already light years implementing legislation and creating a green economy. In California, through tax incentives, cities are competing to attract green companies because of the job growth they. US President Obama needs to show the leadership already being demonstrated on the west coast. Schwarzenegger could simply copy some of the initiatives coming out of California to encourage the growth of green jobs.
