Shannon Waltz

I have never heard this song until I heard Hazel play it on her violin. I had to put in on our list. Hazel does an excellant job as usual on her violin! Many times on our smaller shows, we explore new songs to see how the audience reacts. I had the small shows video taped so I can use it to improve our show. It helped me be more professional when we played at large audiences. I had no idea we would have a YouTube to share things like this across the world. I'm glad I kept some of our videos.

@eapiano87 Thanks for the comment. I was very fortunate to have her in my group along with the bass player. We performed many shows in Texas during that time.

wow. I love the melody, and it's a great learning tool for me, me being a young fiddler. The high notes are hard for me to really nail, and this helps me to hear it and how it should sound. Thanks!

@chitimechill That is a pretty melody. I started playing the fiddle about two weeks ago and I tried this song. It does move around a lot. Also, I am trying to learn "Under The Double Eagle" and a slower gospel song named, "How About Your Heart" in the key of "C". I've got a long way to go as the fiddle is a lot different that what I have played but I really enjoy it. I plan on trying "Twin Fiddle Polka" when I can control the bow better. Wonderful! I'm going to make my bass player watch this ... better yet, I want THAT bass player! Seriously, this lady plays this waltz perfectly - great tone and phersing. She deserves to have this guy on bass - perhaps my favorite of all time!
