In North Korea, Mi-Sun dropped out of middle school and headed to the market to earn money for her family.

Unable to get out of poverty, Mi-Sun escaped to China and again to Southeast Asia where she is now being protected in LiNK's shelter until she is resettled to the US.

@linkglobal Well when I say "I'm trying," I mean "I'm putting out feelers among people and groups on whom I would count for support." I haven't contacted anyone at LiNK yet because I'd feel like a jerk if I got the ball rolling and then it turned out I couldn't deliver.
