Reflection on the main theme of this Cantonese hymn:
The main theme of this song is similar to the following prayers:
1. "You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you." (祢創造我們，為使我們與祢相近；我們的心若不在祢裡面得著安息，不能自有安息。)
2. "Day by day, O dear Lord, three things I pray, to see Thee more clearly, to love Thee more dearly, to follow Thee more nearly, day by day." (每一日我主，我懇求三件事：更深刻認識祢，更虔誠敬愛祢，更緊緊地跟隨祢，每一日。)
Therefore, the following days of this year are the golden days in which we can walk with the Lord more closely!

Reflection on the day of 14th February, 2010:
1. It is Sunday - the Day of the Lord in which He has risen from death - Love our Lord more deeply!
2. It is the first day of the Chinese New Year (the "Year of the Tiger") - Love our country and our culture more deeply!
3. It is the Valentine's Day - Love my wife/husband and our family more deeply!
Therefore, the following days of this year are the golden days in which we can love our Lord, our family, our nation and our culture more deeply!

Reflection on the Chinese word "tiger" (虎):
Firstly, tiger is a symbol of power (權能/能力/力量).
Secondly, the middle part of the word "虎" is like the Chinese number "seven" (七) which may inspire us at the beginning of the Year of the Tiger to pray to God for "seven things":
1. empower me to follow the Lord more nearly (more humbleness!);
2. empower us (our church) to love the Lord more deeply (more humbleness!);
3. empower us to help others (our community and our culture) see the Lord more clearly (more humbleness!);
4. empower me to build a better family (more justice and more love!);
5. empower us to build a better community (more justice and more love!);
6. empower us to build a better country (more justice and more love!);
7. empower us to build a better world (more justice and more love!).
In short, the coming days of this year are the golden days that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in them!

May the Year of the Tiger be a blessed year in which you are empowered like the tiger plus two wings "to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8) 祝願新的一年您我靈力充沛，「如虎添翼」──秉行公義，愛好憐憫，心存謙卑，與主偕行！（彌迦書6:8）
