Multiplex Fox glider power conversion wingeron & a P-51 crash in the background

This is my Multiplex Fox glider that was converted to wingeron control. The motor is a 10 gram brushless motor & the battery is a 2 cell 300 Mah Li-Po. The wingeron movement is accomplished with two servos and the magic mixing of a DX-7 radio. iIt has spectacular vertical performance, the only problem so far is that it won't slow down to land.

@sheilstar12 They both have advantages with wingerons you don't have to goof with the elevator, but wingerons are more sensitive.

How do you keep the wings from moving outwards, is there some sort of a clip.

Its kinda hard to see, but there is a little tiny rubber band that goes through the fuselage and wraps the music wire that spans from the servo arm to the wing.

Nice setup - wingerons are very cool! And they look very efficient. Just wondering how you'd hold that together with a larger plane.

Slow down to land? that´s no problem just cut the power and raise the nose and your bird will definitely slow down, every pilot knows that right? :-)
