Although he looks pretty human in profile, when you look at his face straight-on it looks like he's probably an alien.

In any case, as near as I can tell it's the "human" bit that controls the computer bit, and not the other way around.

Most people would've watched the actual series and probably won't mind minor plot-holes in an abridged series. As long as the main points are covered and it's funny it should be good.
