"La Paloma". Quinteto Iré

This excellent 5-piece group from Holguin play at the hotel buffet 3 nights a week, they have a vast repertoire, mostly traditional Cuban and Mexican, and are all fine musicians. Their young fan thinks so too.
" La Paloma" has been a popular melody worldwide since the 1940' s, but it is a Cuban love song with beautiful lyrics that mention Havana in the first line.
The chorus begins " Si a tu ventana llega una paloma, trata la con cariño que es mi persona" - If a dove flies to your open window, treat it kindly, for it holds my spirit.
