I was posted at the American embassy in GT from '08 to '09 and remember visiting City Mall on the weekends. I especially liked visiting the sea wall on Sunday nights to 'lime' with the locals. Really miss Guyana.

i go back to guyana every year and its safe beacuse we stay at hotel in georgetown i cant speak for houses in guyana maybe it is dangerous but look at the bright side guyana come a far way and hope we can all get alone and be safe when we do visit guyana after all we all belongs they.

guyana is a beautiful place, although i cameto the U.S 21 years ago, (since i was 7 ) I still love my country and only wish that i could go and visit, but my husband is afraid for us to go with our kids especially with whats going on over there right now
