This performance was at the 2008 NAMM show. I talked my friends Hal Blaine,Don Randi and the late Jerry Cole into going back into the studio and re-recording some of their great hits for an upcoming documentary "Makaha, the story of the Originator". We had a great time recording so my girlfriend , Kerry Getz booked us to play at NAMM.
The mix in the venue was weak, so I synced the studio version with the live version. what is amazing is that Hal's timing is so accurate that the video and audio stay in sync for the entire song! They didn't have a drum riser for him! Can you believe it??
This also one of the last public performances of the late , great Jerry Cole... I've known Jerry since the 1980's. He was a kind, loving and sweet guy.. and one of the best guitar players ever!
@12ozwrecker Awww man, that's so cool. Hal has been one of my idols since I can remember (i'm only 30, but HEY) I want to see Hal behind his old Blamire kit. I know one is up in Washington at Donn Bennett Drum Studios.

Excellent cover! And with the real keyboard dude, Don Randi. I can't believe less than 300 people have seen it...it deserves 10X more.
