@DanzibarDrums Do it man! It seems basic at first and most of the software instruments are shit, but if you take the time to learn the little tricks and tweaks you can actually make something that sounds ok!

Sweet, I use Torq which is awesome but for live mixing like controlled with an actual external mixer, so Garageband looks good for the nonlive stufff!
What do you use to edit pics on your mac? iPhoto is like, well shit! I want something where you can add text and cut stuff up and all that.. like even microsoft paint does that?!

@DanzibarDrums sounds good man I'll have to have a look at Torq! I use photoshop CS for difficult stuff and a free program called paintbrush (which is a mac imitation of paint) for quick crops etc. You're right iphoto is shit!! it has a couple of ok effects but apart from that its gay.

p.s. if you want any tips for garageband just ask, it would have been so helpful if someone had showed me stuff rather than having to work it all out which takes a while.
