  • @owenhartlover2008 probably time constraints or maybe they thought it was too many details. im not quite sure. i was in second grade or so when this was all going on.

  • @cuzitwasgood thanks for the response :)..why was that part cut out?

  • there was another version that was aired only one time. it had a picture of when she blew out the candles at her 80th birthday party. you could see his figure next to her. that was cut out the next time the episode aired (and all the times after...) i wish i could get ahold of that version of the episode because i have only seen the picture once when i was young (when we were shooting the scene at the end at her 92nd birthday) aunt Margaret has that photo, and she has just passed away.

  • I CANNOT believe you found this version @UMHQ !! i have never seen this one! we knew there was a different taping that they edited, but no one ever got taped. this one is completely redone though...different host even?

i DID notice they spelled Macomb wrong...lol, McComb...made me laugh.

  • @owenhartlover2008 she is not, and my great aunt margaret who is the daughter speaking of seeing her father's ghost passed away recently (2.6.12)

  • @raerae1985 me? i am her great grandchild. yes, she passed away in 2000 @98 years old. miss her dearly.

  • @MrsNyanCat11 I had the same rule with my mother... I would always make sure my last words to her were "I love you". When my mother passed away in 2004, they were my last words to her, and her last words to me. Always make sure your last words to someone are kind and loving, because you never know what might happen...

  • This touched me so deeply, it's very beautiful. I always go to the door with my husband to kiss him, but our rule is to say "I love you, see you later", we never say goodbye. Silly maybe, but it feels just right.

  • According to another posting of this video, no she is not, having died in 2000. The person posting that information claims to be one of her grandchildren.

  • Does anyone know if she is possibly still alive?
