An excerpt from Douglas Coupland's book, Generation A. In this piece, animation studio, Crush Inc., re-imagines one of the stories within the novel, about a cult bent on gaining enlightenment by killing celebrities, as a lurid graphic novel. The circle of people considered famous enough to be targets grows until no one is safe.

  • lifeinaFallenWorld22: your a fucking idiot.

  • @MarvelMakemine what I meant is that God would never want us to do wrong. God hates it when we do wrong but of course we all end up doing wrong (sinning) at some time or another and need to be forgiven. Some people like to claim that Christianity is just another cult but my response would be the Bible is Truth.

  • @lifeInAFallenWorld22

Forgive me if I am wrong, you'd know more about this than me, but didn't Christ die for people BECAUSE they wrong? He said that it was not possible for us to live rightly and therefore the grace, the sanctification & forgiveness that came with his death was necessary... & that's why he did it? I thought the point of that particular religion was to TRY & do right, & Christ picks up the slack (paraphrased) when we inevitably fail, but is always forgiving of mistakes.

  • Cults are evil and are the work of Satan. Christ died for our sins. True Christianity is living for Christ and Christ NEVER wants us to do wrong. I write this because it is from the truth of the Bible and because it relates to the video.

  • I loved this book.

  • Fantastic.

  • Douglas Coupland, if only I were as clever as you. your narratives have always been thoroughly enjoyable since day one.

  • kudos
