I feel moved by Simon and Garfunkel's version, but although Elvis gives a very good vocal performance, the background music about halfway through is too overdone to my liking. It kinda offsets the greatness you hear in his voice. If it was more him and a piano and a little bit less background music, it would've been perfect; but otherwise it's just a above-average cover of a timeless classic. Oh well. RIP Elvis 1.8.35-8.16.77 But his spirit in heaven and music on Earth will never die.
