This film was shot of the main road number five just south of Glinojeck, 95km north of Warsaw.

My channel on you tube : http://www.youtube.com/alanheath is one of the most prolific from Poland, although unfortunately not the most visited. With almost one film per day, one may be forgiven for thinking I do nothing else but I do have a day job as well. I have produced more than 400 original films, most in English but also in Polish, French, Italian, Spanish and the occassional hint of German and Hebrew. My big interest in life is travel and history but I have also placed films on other subjects

Please feel free to ask questions in the public area or to comment on things you disagree with. Sometimes there are mistakes because I speak without preparation. If I see the mistakes myself, I make this clear in the text. Please also leave a star rating!

There are a number of films here on the packaging industry. This is because I am the publisher of Central and Eastern European Packaging -- http://www.ceepackaging.com - the international platform for the packaging industry in this region focussing on the latest innovations, trends, design, branding, legislation and environmental issues with in-depth profiles of major industry achievers. Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine!

Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region and the sites http://www.ceepackaging.com/articles/events/ and http://www.ceepackaging.com/articles/agenda/ give a pretty good idea where future films are going to come from! Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

In 1997 I founded Polish Business News http://www.pbn.com.pl .There are a number of business related films here and I intend to do many more on CRM (customer relations management).

My blog can be found via http://www.ceepackaging.com and http://www.pbn.com.pl and contains background information and more details of many of my films. This information is in English.

I have also a second blog on the site http://www.navigeo.net/blog/alan-heath-blog . This site has been recently started by a friend and I think it will soon be one of the leading travel sites in Poland, if not Central Europe. It contains additional information about some of the places and events shown in these films but most of that is in Polish.

  • i tolerate going slightly faster than speed limit, but not crossing the lines. And actually YOU were braking the law also i think, because you seem to be holding a video camera on one hand while according to general traffic laws in EU, both hands must be kept on a steering wheel at all times, except when changing gear.

  • @kr0pp I am unaware of any law in Poland (or any other EU country) that states that both hands must be on the steering wheel. However there are countries where this is law.

In any case I am pretty certain here that I have both hands on the wheel.

I did not cross the line - this is the camera angle. Since filming this I have done films deliberately where it appears that the vehicle is more than half way over the line but it has not crossed at all.

  • @alanheath well you might not have broken any laws but still, this is nothing. I've seen far worse in Poland. Cars overtaking one-another when there is 90 km/h speedlimit and driving 100km/h instead is NORMAL anywhere in EU. And IMO should not be condemned. Most of the drivers didn't endanger his/her or your life in this video. Although I would not cross the line to overtake, I would have most certanly overtaken YOU were I at that time in that place and had the conditions for good overtaking.

  • @kr0pp I have seen far worse - I saw far worse later that day with a car smashed up and ambulances all around. Driving 10% of the speed limit is normal - although some countries can punish this. And if you had overtaken me then you would have been breaking the law as I was going the legal maximum.

  • Author of this film has no right to saying who is braking the law because HE broke the law. It's not allowed to drive on side of the road to help passing by other cars.

And... the most dangerous person was You...

  • @meeeee2321 The car did not cross the line. It is the camera angle.

  • @ledas0 You seem pretty interested in homosexuals. You must be one yourself. Not that there is anything wrong with that. It means there is more women for the rest of us!

  • @zigiziriksi So it is OK to kill 6,000 people every year but it is not OK to report them. You must really be sick.

  • What happens if you masturbate in the middle of the road in Poland?

  • @07216driver Mexican living in Poland?...

  • i like how all the cars overtake you like immediately after the policecar ^^

  • Hahaha, who gives a fuck about people breaking the law (not in extreme of course...) ? What do you care how people drive there, naming their license plates... acting so high and noble. Get real, it's there own responsibility...

  • ... but the other reason why they drive the way drive is simply because they don't have enough highways. Poland has only about 1000 kilometers of highways and it is one of the biggest country in Europe!!! After the II WW they simply have focused on building housings to provide shelters for all survived people instead of investing work in to the roadways system. So they don't have other choice but to use only available roads to travel for a hundreds of kilometers.
