Kay Danes' new book about the plight of prisoners and their families subjected to human rights violations in foreign prisons. Kay and her husband spent almost a year wrongfully incacerated in a prison in Laos.

  • To everyone outside of Australia who has enquired about buying Kay's book, it will be released in the US in April and is available for pre-order from Amazon

  • Can't wait to read this book, I know it will be an eye-opener. Kay works for Human Rights 8 days a week, 366 days a year. It all adds up too. Ask Chen, Norman, and Nguyen from the 'Melasti 3'. They will actually be around to read this! Good on you Kay.

  • Kay Danes' work and activism in this field helps scores of people from many different nations who have been either wrongfully convicted and/or imprisoned under inhumane conditions. Her latest book rightly points out the suffering caused not only to the convicted but to their family and friends. These people need the support of all who care about justice.
