I knitted scarves from Homespun--easy to knit with and a very soft scarf!!

The best crochet stitch to use is a Granny Square because you don't have to slip your hook into an exact stitch. I made one giant granny square and it made a great afghan. Although, I have to admit I prefer to knit with Homespun.

I love working with Homespun! I have been able to do the striping on the 6-hour afghan. The trick is to 'synch' the 3 skeins so they all start at the same color group. Also, make sure you get as many skeins as you need in the same dye lot (always a must-do, but especially on these). For those new to LionBrand -- ALL patterns are free online. Take advantage of this great offer, as there are a lot of wonderful projects out there just waiting for you!

@jump4joy1111 Yes, it's the crochet Belle Scarf (get to it immediately by typing 80962 into the search box on our website). For a similar knit scarf, try the Painted Circle Scarf (80846).

Homespun can be crocheted. Try using a slightly larger hook so that you can see your stitches.
