To mark the 50th anniversary of its legendary Calibre 12P, Piaget rose to a new technical challenge by
setting a double record for both the thinnest self-winding movement and the thinnest self-winding watch in the
world, respectively measuring a mere 2.35 mm and 5.25 mm.

The new Altiplano watch features a generous 43 mm diameter that enhances its elegant profile.

Thin Is In.

  • This may be the most elegant watch I've ever seen. But why is 2.35 mm considered thinner than 2.3 mm?

  • MUSIC?????

  • @ephemeralprotagonist you'd be hard-pressed to find this watch for less than $19,000

  • What's with all the thumbs down? This vid rules.

  • @thesubirgupta Self-winding? You wanted to say "hand-wound," right?

  • best avertesiment ever

  • song?

  • хуя!!

  • @iglitchhalo2

Yes in principle they were the same, but know instead of it winding a spring to keep time the rotor inside turns a tiny gerator to charge a battery or cappacitor to run a quartz timer, but am not sure how this new one works

  • Is it just me, or does this bare a striking resemblance to the Tron: Legacy trailer?
