@ natolnyamazing998
Didn't you hear him say that this is a series of videos because there are SO MANY foods?
-
wow some yummy food
-
actually, I was born deaf and I know that the cookie sign was right, just with more of an open hand..
-
Is this ASL?
-
for chocolate u have everything right except the movement.your hand with the c shaped moves in a circle on top of the other hand. but other than that great vid!!! keep up the good work!

@irian23 The cookie sign is done with an open C hand (claw hand).Think of using a cookie cutter. The sign for meat should have the thumb and forefinger grasping the piece of skin btwn the thumb and index finger of the non-dominant hand and the non-dominant should not be swaying etc. No not SEE but it is obvious they are not yet fluent and it can lead to mistakes or confusion. Also someone asked for the sign for pizza and that signs REALLY varies by region. FS it until you figure out local sign

@moneah99 That's how you say cookie in singed English. I think that's what they are signing in, not in ASL.
-
Is this Singed English? Cause it looks a lot like it.
-
@moneah99 there are over ten different signs for cookie haha
-
Thats not how you say cookie
You're doing great!! Have you had any opportunities to meet Deaf people and hang out with them? You could practice what you're learning and enhance and advance the skills you're acquiring. Ask them about these signs and see if they have any suggestions for you. Deaf socialization is the only way to learn ASL and learn it well. =)
