I would have gotten up and walked out in a heartbeat. There is no excuse for that kind of anger and bitterness and hate while they were still pulling bodies from the wreckage, and the families and all of America were in grief. None.
The Obamabots can moan about "context" all they want. The fact is that no one cherry-picked this. Reverend Wright himself released this sermon on video as a shining example of his BEST work. It's disgusting.

All these comments are 1-2 years old. No one took the time to check out the Pastors sermons because if they would have they would have seen how faux news did a hatchet job and took a brilliant sermon and turned into some kind of anti-American hate sermon which it wasnt, and they also would have found out he was quoting the white ambassador to Iraq. I hope people since then have found out the truth about this man, his great sermon & realize you have to double check faux news, they are liars.

You've just illustrated a GREAT reason not to vote Jeremiah Wright for president; (i'm stilll waiting on why i shouldn't vote for Barack Obama though).
You've also illustrated a GREAT contrast between the words of Hillary Clinton and Jeremiah Wright (now try to contrast the words of Clinton and OBAMA).

this is such an amazing contrast. there is a reason why "typcial white americans" find reverand wright's message and delivery of that message revolting. he has the right as an american to say what he will but we don't have to accept it nor approve of a nominee for POTUS who is mentored by this reverand.

Perhaps the difference in the style and rhetoric of this video is due to the fact that Hillary Clinton is a politician and Dr. Jeremiah Wright is an ordained minister. It is simply inappropriate to compare the vernacular of career politicians with the prophet preaching of ordained clergy. Read the books of Amos, Jeremiah, and Isaiah, where one can learn more about the role of the prophets and their often harsh, yet challenging words given in critique of in unjust social order.
