American Citizen in Solitary Confinement for 2 Years Over Bogus Terror Charge

This is Faisel, the brother of Fahad Hashmi, an American citizen arrested 3 years ago for putting up, in his apartment, someone who gave an Al Qaeda member a suitcase of waterproof socks. The charge is "material support" to the enemy. He has been in solitary confinement 23 out of 24 hours of the day for 2 years, unbroken. The government is citing the S.A.M.s Act (Special Administration Measures) as its authority for holding Fahad in solitary. The S.A.M.s was recently passed by Congress as a new power of the government. His brother charges this is a form of torture. Fahad faces 70 years. His trial is August 12, 2009. He knows what he is talking about. Too many of these federal scams getting run. All with the same results.

The question is not "Why is this happening?" but "Why is no one doing anything about it?" No one is holding the media responsible for their failure to address these cases. No one is making the FBI and the DOJ show proof of crimes on these cases. Every time, they manage to convict with NO evidence. How is this possible? Doesn't anyone else see what is happening???
