i fucking hate that go compare advert, i swear if i could be bothered i would give that 'advertisement standards authority' a piece of my mind. I swear every time i hear that knob sing, a piece of me DIIIIESS!

another cliché advertisement tecnique (at least in Brasil) is the fake doctors saying how they recommend Colgate... urgh and the fake tests they do that show the bacteria in people's mouths and then after they use the toothpaste, because it only removes 99 per cent of the bacterie they always leave some of the yellow dots!! It's horrible!

Ever heard of the Geico Gecko? I hate it.
I have to disagree with you on not liking songs in advertising. For example, iPhone/iPod commercials (dancing silouettes? heh? heh?) they turn me to good music. I like Apple's commercials.

you can hate all you want, but I really do enjoy advertisements . To me it shows what the company thinks of it's consumers.

I dislike the advertisements on youtube. Especially when I'm like "Hey come watch this video it's really funny!" Then it's an ad for shampoo or something D= I feel kinda doofy when that happens lol.
