@SlimeTron5000 What do you mean? One was chased by the two drop kicks in the Holden. Plus the white Australia policy only finished in 73. So the flood of immigrants who eventually took over areas like Bankstown and Cabramatta hadn't really started yet.

I saw this on Foxtel the other night. I wanted to like it, I really did. But it was so damn boring. Surely even in the 70's this must have been boring. Not only did it feature the two dudes in the holden, it must have been written by them too. But, as others have said, the shots around bankstown were interesting.

As a movie it wasn't that great but as a commentary on Bankstown in the 70's it's fantastic. Some people look at it with nostalgia, some with bemeusement but however you look at it it's a window into the past. I remember watching it on SBS in the late 80's, even as a wee tot I liked FJ holdens being from mixed parentage didn't change that one iota.
