Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the only man elected four times as President of the United States. His legs paralyzed by polio, he led a crippled nation through the dark days of the Great Depression and World War II with eternal optimism and lifted the spirits of millions of Americans, offering a "New Deal" to the American people, he forever changed the role of the Federal government and left a profound mark on the 20th century.

  • Of not or

  • FDR was a piece of shit. He wasn't to be celebrated. He was well on his way to making a socialist state in his first term with a democrat Congress, the only thing that stopped him were Supreme Court rulings the NRA and AAA were unconstitutional. He buddied up with Joseph Stalin even though he was responsible for murders or millions. He used executive orders like he was a dictator. He had a total disregard for the Constitution.

  • The world need leaders like this great Prseident!I miss him.May rest in peace.

  • God bless him.

  • @GingerFish85 eisenhower did a far better job..

  • anitmatter....what planet are you from. I believe it was Hitler who put people in concentration camps. FDR freed them when he and Churchill, the two greatest world leaders ever, defeated the Monster and freed the world from Nazi terrorism. If it wasn't for Roosevelt and Churchill, none of us would be blogging right now and you can take that to the Bank, preferably the Fed Reserve

  • If he was a communist or socialist, then I guess it is proof in the pudding those systems work. This man saved our country, and it is what it is today because of his wisdom. Labeling someone a socialist who helped millions of people live through the depression and ensured all Americans will have some income when retiring makes socialism pretty darn appealing. God Bless

  • rest in peace

  • Yes, he's a great president who put people in concentration camps and made all U.S.A. citizens have a tag that is collateral to the Federal Reserve for borrowing so much money. Basically he sold future generations of Americans, and if you look on the Stock Market our birth certificates are worth money. He is a great president indeed.

  • Can you tell me where you got the picture of FDR as baby at 0:35 in the video?
