  • Everyone is now echoing what Ron Paul said at the CNN debate. Furthermore, Ron Paul is the only candidate to recognize the Federal Reserve (a private collective) as the destructive force to the value of the dollar and how it binds us to international interests.

  • Hey Giuliani, can you act any more like Ron Paul?

  • Wow. The smartest, most articulate man on the Republican primary ticket is a negro. He is the best argument against racism I think I've ever seen. Alan Keyes for President 2012-2016. Fred Thompson would be a perfect VP, BTW.

  • Abolish welfare, social security, medicare, and medicaid. Replace it with investment in accounts that are renewable energy like Nuclear and Geothermal. The revenues goes to them and if you can't sell it there could a energy standard like Gold and Silver. Government runs it, but can't take anything out of what your paying in. Now when your not retired the revenues being produced will go to buy you more energy and cover people welfare. And they can only get it up to two years and it's a loan.

  • Mark

I support how Paul wants to get rid of welfare and bring us back to a Constitutional sized government. Yet he doesn't say it like he should so he's lying.

  • I agree -- Ron is more honest than Huck. but who isnt? Huck is a liar and he knows it.

Huck knows his lunatic Fairtax is a farce - that it pretends to get a trillion dollars a year FROM the government -- and count that as income.

Ron is kind of a kook -- and he doesn't want to piss off the Fairtax kooks -- but Ron knows the Fairtax is a farce.

  • What an Awful Moderator, Hey Hunny its not about YOU, its about THEM, let the men speak you Ugly Arrogant Condescending Haag !

  • Will someone please shoot this Beast Hagg Moderator ? She single handledly Ruined this entire debate and Used it as her chance to audition for a possible tv show.

Hey Des Moine Register, i think i want my Money back , If this is the kind of Egomaniac Moron who is in charge of your Paper, im not buying it, ill get it so my Dog can piss on it, thats all its worth

  • Hey Fair tax fairies - I will wash your ass and drink the water, if the Fair tax could be 23%. It would be a nightmare even at 23%, but it will have to the 50%. YOu really think cancer patients will pay 30K tax on their surgery and chemo? Health care will get exemptions. You think the Navy wont have to pay 1 billion dollar sales tax on a submarine? Military will get exemptions. So will a lot of others. The rate will be over 50%. Be careful what you wish for.
