Director is going places just watch. Film is actually very good for a low budget film. Very good, like TCM (original) only more depraved (if that's possible).

you have to read this guy's books - Header is based on one of the 30+ books this guy has written -they are all seriously messed up. Really good gonzo shock horror. . edward lee online (dot) com for more info. I recommend the book "Bullet through your Face" as a good introduction to his writing style - its 3 long stories that give you a nice idea of how deranged (and entertaining) his writing is.

hostel really isnt that gory. well its gory but there are movies out there far worse when it comes to gore.
