Muslims are confused by divergent opinions of Scholars about observance Hijab, while all agree on women to be dressed up modestly, some opine that even face is to be covered [Burqa, even resisted by Europeans, especially France]. Many scholars opine that Muslim women are not required to cover their faces. In an interesting scholarly discussion at Huda Tv, Dr.Zakir Naik presents convincing arguments, through Qur'an and Hadith, to prove that face covering is not obligatory in Hijab.

  • COMPLETELY WRONG HE NEVER PROOVED THAT ...SHIEKH SALAH OFFERED 3 PROOFS 1 from quran 2nd from hadith and 3rd from MAN NATURE...HE ANSWERED ONLY 2 3rd PART NOT THE 1 and 2nd THATS WHAT HE DEBUKED(SHIEKH SALAH) ZAKIR NIAK DURING HIS TALK.......DONT MAKE SUCH LAME TITLES OF VIDEO TO MISGUIDE PPL..NIQAB IS FARZ AND IT WILL BE FARQ ...IN EVERY AGE A TRUE PIOUS WOMEN HAD WORN THE NIQAB......

  • @ahmedzahir12345 Please read the Title carefully "Muslim Women need not to Cover Face in Hijab- Dr.Zakir Naik proves from Quran & Hadith", if you do not agree with Dr,Zakir Naik and his arguments, its up to you. There is no misguidance in video title. Why women uncover their faces, by not observing this 'FARDH' during Hajj and Umrah?

  • According to dictionary dotcom: Scholar is a learned or erudite person, especially one who has profound knowledge of a particular subject. I think Dr.Zakir Naik has adequate knowledge of Islam, however if we restrict it to formal education in Al Azhar etc, then he does not fit in to restricted definition! Is matter of acceptance by any one. No one can claim to be final authority on knowledge.

  • @Abbujak What I don't understand with some people is that they will only accept the opinion of Scholars who have "formal education" at specific university's, and that all other opinions are wrong. Was there a formal institution during the Sahabah's time ? Was there a place where you need to graduate from in order to have the right to preach your religion during the Prophet's life? No! So why change our stance on the subject now?

  • It is important to watch, listen and assess for yourself. All I know is that we should not judge each other so much. We do not have this right. And the point which is often left out is that Men have the responsibility to be decent and respectful and to treat women as equals. They should not stare at women if they see their faces. Allah knows all that is in our hearts and knows our faults, so in that case we should focus on having pure and good intentions. Salam.

  • @pebblesandwaves Its not sunnah , do you understand the defination of 'sunnah' it is something that is performed by the prophet peace be upon him. And the prophet was a male. Niqab is highly recommended by scholers and its mubah optional but if anyone wants to attain a good level of Taqwah they prefer giving niqab. And those who aren't giving niqab we cannot say there hijab isn't proper as it not fard or wajib its mustahab.

  • I will be naked to pray...to prove that i have nothing to hide.

  • @ahmedzahir12345 Niqab is not Fard. It is sunnah. Of course. But when Islam doesn't make something mandatory, no body can. Yes, with make up, one should cover the face but without makeup, showing the face is not a sin. I am a Muslim and I wear the hijab. Assalam ualaikum.

  • @ahmedzahir12345 if the woman doesn't cover the face wile praying, then it's not fardh

    agreed whith Dr. Zakir Naik

may the Almighty Allah protect all the students of the light, of the way of Allah sobhanaho wa taala.

  • @whaqid Wrong. the qu' ran addresses the wives of the Prophets by saying they are not like any other women. Do your research.
