Here's my breakfast as inspired by Anthony Robbins and his green drink. I think he calls his inner balance... I call my "slop". If you google "tony robbins" I think you can find him and sage talking about the importance of alkalinity. Anyway, thought you might enjoy these health tips. Cheers Cheers.

  • If you listen to your body sometimes it will tell you it NEEDS stuff like this. I thought it looked awful but when I have made them different stuff each time they taste good. I use what I have in the house. Mixing fruit and veggies sounded unappetizing but it works!

  • yes i would

  • I do something similar with my protein after my workout. I thought I could never give up coffee but after changing my diet the green buzz is the best.

  • I do this every day, except I do it in a Vitamix and it's a nice smoothie which goes down a bit quicker.

I vary what I put in as well. I usually start with an orange and some greens, then add veggies and frozen berries as I have them in the fridge.

FYI I got free shipping on my Vitamix, you can use code 06-005645 in the checkout.

Oh and I love making hot soups like tomato bisque by letting it blend long enough that the friction heats it - it's really like magic :-)

  • Try this: Spinach, banana, green apple, carrot, cucumber, soy milk.

I also mix in a tablespoon of green super food which you can get at any healthfood store (basically wheat grass, barley grass, chorella, spirulina, Nova Scotia Dulse)

Also goes well with any type of berries, dates, or figs.

    P.S.

Many people don't know spinach is very -high in protein- 7 grams per 100 grams.

  • If you are eating it (as opposed to drinking it), why not just eat the veggies? What's the point of blending everything together?

  • Healthy living.....good man.

  • Yikes!

  • It depends on how it tastes. I have had some protein shakes that tasted like sh--on a shingle! Yuck. But that looks good.....actually it looks salsa. Have it with a breakfast egg burrito (using a spinach wrap) and use that as the salsa. Add some peppers to it.

  • No chance
