Heavy Weapons Fire on India-Pakistan Border

The Times of India -- The Indian Army was put on alert following heavy exchange of weapons fire at the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir early on Tuesday following a major infiltration bid, defense sources said. The firing, at the Kanachak sector near Akhnoor, 30km northwest of Jammu, started at 2am and went on for four hours.
