@FLICKtheUSA LMFAO look it up sir, most officers are from good schools like Stanford or UCLA schools with high standards. The best and often most cowardly go to college, mm those phat houses are full of the best Americans right? the spring breakers you speak of, who do nothing but drink and do drugs. Oh by the way the average college student graduates with massive debt but hey they are smart with money aren't they?

Nah... I don't believe that for a second. The best and brightest go to college and universities - not the military.
Look at their mean income.
Officers make up a very small percentage of total manpower, even if what you said is true (it isn't) it still means I'm right.

@XKM866480 Don't blame the soldiers period they did their jobs and what they were told to do. Have a problem blame it on the Government but not our best and brightest.

@FLICKtheUSA Wrong! stop comparing wars that were completely different in tactics and scale of warfare, the Brits lost in several engagements because our soldiers backed by the french were better.

@FLICKtheUSA Vietnam? i remember we plainly defeated the British empire in several conventional engagements throughout the war. Lincoln did end it by executive but you failed to forget the confederacy were very organized and had the best officers in the nation they were not rejects just didn't have the industrial advantage as the north did. The average American soldier has a higher iQ then the average high school graduate who doesn't enter service like i said most officers come from good schools
