  • i have a springer..how comes she keeps running over the same place? it seems like it would know that it already checked that area and would move on.

  • I'm telling her to hunt the ground over again!

It's so I could video her to show a friend of mine her great drive!

  • Tail aint docked half enough, marked down

  • That's a good trial length dock! All my spaniels are the same and I have never had a tail damage problem and they work some very thick cover! A longer dock for trials is better as it looks more stylish. I don't like to see a spaniel with a too short dock, no need for it.

Not sure what you mean by marked down!

  • @phoenix1916 there's always one isn't there!

  • That is a beautiful spaniel, I have a shorthair and she hunts all on her own in the tall grass in our back yard.

  • i have one two but she is black and white

  • your exactaly right theres these assholes who buy a little cute spanial puppy and dont even walk it then they want to get rid of it when the thing goes ape shit all the time and they wonder why.stupid

  • Springer spaniel heaven.

  • true they have to be constantly on the move theyre the ultimate ditch dog.

  • Thanks for your good wishes I thought you might like to know since then my wife has made me the present of a springer puppy 'Ace' who is currently in training and showing promise .Its been a long while since I trained from such a young dog hopefully we can start feather retrieves shortly.

  • This is what Springers are born to do. People who wonder why their apt springer is always barking and running around don't really get it. Every Springer you see at an AKC show really wishes it was out here doing this.

  • What is the max distance you trained your dog to go away from you?
