Where do you get the pieces of glass from?

oh, I mean sandwiching the owl between the glass?with out it getting the glass uneven...thanks...

@TheIchiban1974 On this pendant, the little owl is not inside the glass. I secured it to the exterior of the glass pendant with a little blob of clear 2 part epoxy, but you could also use E6000 craft glue if you don't like mixing the 2 part stuff. Both hold great, even to a slick surface like glass. Both are available at home depot, lowes, or walmart. For the shadow box, you might need a wider copper foil. Possibly you could find at a stained glass supply such as Delphi Glass dot com.

great video you must be an art teacher of some sort?well I just got into soldering, I am curious how you put the glass between the owl with out it going off the glass track?I would like to solder a pendant and make it more like a box?do you have any ideas?like 2x2? more like a shadow box?thanks for the video...

@TheIchiban1974 Hi & thanks for your comments! Re: glass shadow box, I would try to make a little 1/8" support frame on the inner edge, out of a material that could withstand the heat. Such as flat toothpicks, or strips of cardboard, even folded paper, that would be hidden by the copper foil when you wrap it. Or paint it black. I would try securing it to the glass with double sided tape (like scotchtape, not foam stuff) This would create a little box you could fill and then cover w/ glass #2
