Bishop Millicent Hunter preaches at the Greater Mt. Calvary Holy CHurch in Washington, D.C. where Bishop ALfred Owens pastors along with Co-Pastor Susie Owens. She preaches about the desperation a Christian needs to have to work through places of hurt and harm and that seemed to be impossible to get out. This happened during the Mount Calvary Holy Churches of America convocation. It was an awesome message by one of the greatest orators, female or male, in history.

  • Paul never said women couldn't preach, but he did say that if a "Man" desires the office of a Bishop let "him" be the husband of one wife. The Gr. word "anthropos" is masculine and refers to men only. So no where in Scripture will you find any women called a Bishop. The word Bishop refers to an overseer, one who lead the flock of God.

  • Women were not prevented from prophesying or from leading in the Old or New Testament ( Deborah - who also was a judge over Israel, Huldah, Anna, the daughters of Phillip the Deacon). It was valid then and is valid now! Paul prohibited female worship leaders in Corinth because women facilitated idolatry in the Acropolis Temple and the Corinthians imitated, bringing idolatrous practices into the church! If you know women leading idolatry, don't let them preach. But God uses who He chooses!

  • Didn't recognize Bishop without her beautiful signature white crown ... She Preached as always ....

....bt did anyone notice the person in the gold hood - knocked out around the 8:48 minute? I bout fell out laughin at that - the camera man knew better - but it was funny.

  • I agree Paul never said women couldn't preach either but people misinterpret scripture and try to use it to keep women down and people don't realize that you have to look at scripture in reference to other scripture and take the time in which it was written and to whom it was written as well.

  • no, the Lord didn't actually call her a dog. He equated her asking/begging to that of a dog begging...

  • God didn't say women couldn't preach, Paul said something along those lines but you have to realize the time in which Paul was writing. Women can be anointed to preach just as well as a men.

  • Please forgive me for misunderstanding your question.

  • That wasn't my question.

  • That's what the Word of GOD says!!!

  • HELP

Is she saying the Lord called the woman a dog?
