They were hated because they rejected all scripture and laws of the jews that they believed to have been distorted after the kingdom of judahs incarceration into Babylon. The jews however rejected the Samaritans and said that they corrupted the faith because they had mixed assyrian belifs into judaism during the assyrian take over of the kingdom of israel. They basically believed the other one was a heretic. They differ as well in a number of practices, I suggest you look it up

@BlasphemyChannel he didn’t tell you to except god (is that all you here when religious people talk on any subject?) he was telling you that religious people (well a lot of religious people) don’t just throw a hissy fit every time anybody says anything funny at their belief’s expense, let alone criticize
