British Sea Power play a beautifully laid back version of Atom live at the Union Chapel Islington on 27 April 2010.
The main event of the evening was a live performance of BSP's acclaimed soundtrack to the 1934 documentary film Man of Aran. There was also enjoyable support from Rose Elinor Dougall, but BSP themselves opened the proceedings with what was billed as an acoustic set. In reality, it was a full electric set, albeit a fairly laid back performance, performed seated. As is to be expected with BSP, we were treated to a wonderfully eclectic setlist, including The Land Beyond, Childhood Memories and A Wooden Horse!
This was a wonderful evening and thanks must go to the folks from The Quietus and the Branchage Film Festival for making it all possible - and giving us Jersey Royal potatoes!
Fantastic :) thanks for posting this .
