The Daily Post (www.dailypost.co.uk)reported on December 24th, 2007 that "comments made by Executive Producer Russell T. Davies at the preview screening of Voyage of the Damned have caused quite a stir.
"When asked who from history he would like to see play the Doctor, Davies reportedly jokingly answered 'Hitler. He was stern and strong. He would be great.'
"According to the story, some guests laughed, but others were shocked by the remark.
"One fan later remarked: 'Hitler carried out some of the world's worst atrocities. He ordered the killing of millions of innocent people. I don't want my kids thinking Hitler and Doctor Who are in any way the same.'
"When David Tennant was then asked the same question, he reportedly declined to answer."
Mr. Hitler, though, did make a comment.
As my 11 year old nephew told an audience before performing "You Won't Succeed on Broadway" from "Spamalot":
"If you are easily offended, please get out!"
I think what people don't understand about Sylvester Mccoy is that he was very authentic as the Doctor. After all, the downside really was bad scripting at the time when he was the doctor. Season 26 was I think very very good, if only the scripting was better throughout his time.

Oh that's funny! Next Time in Doctor Who: "So, we invade Poland or we wait the ice to melt?"

I'm stunned. This is hilarious, but proves that comedy is not necessarily in good taste. I guess you're testing the maxim that "it is only offensive if it is not funny."
Oh, and I thought it was clever that while you slam on the 7th Doctor, you make an allusion to the 6th's final line from "The Twin Dilemma."
