Flood cover (live version)

I'm starting something new. I recorded this using my lexicon alpha with a shure sm57 on my cabinet. I mixed that audio with the audio from the song, then layed both of those over the video I was recording at the same time. This way the sound quality is a lot better and clearer. I still need to do some tweaking with the sound, but overall I think it sounds good. Also If you haven't noticed I picked up an '81 silverburst :)

Vicarious and H both require the use of a pinky, Vicarious especially, and on both I use my pinky when necessary. What YOU need to understand is that this isn't speed metal. I use the techniques required for the style, a much more important attribute to learn than just using your pinky for every other fuckin thing.

The harmonics at 3:52.. i can never figure them out... great stuff man.

Also, barely any pinky is required when played Tool, unless you playing the aforementioned Vicarious or Stinkfist... I started off by just learning Tool but when I go to play mathcore like Dillinger or tech death metal or something, you just learn to use it... I'm sure, no I'm positive opiate can use his pinky finger to play non Tool songs just fine. Stupid ass.
