Ok that's a load of bullshit. Black Flag were signed to their own lable SST and the Rollins Band were also on an indie lable so they got complete creative control and weren't put under any kind of pressure to write a mainstream record. Surely being able to play music full time is a lot better for the artist than having to work in a shitty factory. Forced artistic creativity? That's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard, which great muscians are these?
