  • OK, let's get something straight here: Marcel's The Publisher is a complete rip-off of The Executioner. Don't kid yourself into thinking otherwise. There are WAY WAY TOO MANY similarities to be anything but a rip off. Now don't get me wrong...I like the Punisher character....why wouldn't I? I do, after all, love The Executioner character.

  • 700 rounds per second? oops....

  • @obakpo88 Most of the time Mack has with women, is part of his cover, or he's waiting for his plan to come together. It's not like he goes, "Ehh, I could go kill those mafios.... but I could use a nap, and a blonde."

  • @nate556 While I do acknowledge Mack as being a part in the creation Frank Castle along with The Shadow, they're completely different when it comes to operating, weapon choice and thought process, so Frank is in no way a downright rip off. Also in regards to Mack blasting through Frank any day, here are my thoughts,Mack actually has free time to spend with girls and doing extreme sports, Frank never stops being a soldier.

  • @dragonknight1984 Mr. Don Pendelton was interviewed in The Punisher magazine. This was a pupl form of magazine color plastic cover, black and white pages inside. The mag only lsted a handful of issues. It told The Punishers origin for the first time. It only lstee a few issues.

  • @dragonknight1984 Sadly, if they did this, it would be viewed as a Punisher rip off. The Punisher wasn't losely based on Mack Bolan, I see it as a downright rip off. From the way the characters look, to their choice of weaponry. One thing to remember though, Big Thunder would blast big holes through the Punisher's armor, any day.

  • @sardu656 well. If he was 30 in the 1st book. He's be in his 70's now.

  • @Stonyman65 Be a best blockbuster film series that would top MGM's 007 James Bond series.

  • I love "The Executioner" series (specifically the ones written by Don Pendleton), but do the books count as "airport novels"?

  • The guy perfect to now play Mack Bolan will be actor Thomas Jane, who looks much like Mack Bolan and had played Frank Castle in a recent Marvel Punisher movie. Sad Don Pendleton died, but I'm hoping Linda Pendleton & Gold Eagle will get Hollywood to make a series of EXECUTIONER films with BALLS, and I post my own vote for Thomas Jane to play the action hero role of Mack Bolan The Executioner.
