This song was written for Rush's Daddy, Ronald Raygun

@infamousmom Who are these "others"? I'd like them lit up so we can decide if they're jackals--instead of taking your word for their being beacons of truth. I don't need the weather channel to know hate is reigning in Brooklyn. Rush would probably be the last person to say he's never wrong, but I give him a lot of credit for being the 1st radio host to break thru the Left's strangle hold on free speech--although today it's Glenn Beck who's leading the charge, so throw some dirt HIS way!

Not to defend Rush...but what does this have to do with Ralph Emery or Gram?
from what i gather, Ralph was very rude to Gram "on the air, mind you." Rush is a radio commentator who voices his opinions and commentary ...remember freedom of speech, remember the constitution? Ya'll have the implied right not to listen to him, you know. dispense with all the hate crap, already. only makes u sound childish.

@infamousmom Rush Limbaugh, a man expressing opinions and points of view, sorry, its not a stupid video, but what would Ralph Emery do?
so evidently none of you Rush haters have ever listened to his show for a full 3 hours - OR you do not work for a living but rather live off someone else. And the KKK? "Mr. Snerdly", Rush's long time trusted assistant and main call screener is very much a black man.

@Gilstrap2009 Of course we've listened. But we've also listened to other people who don't just spread bluster and lies around as if it were truth. Do yourself a favor. Next time Rush says something, go look it up. Kinda like that "Lord's Army" he was so sure was a bunch of persecuted Christians. Quite frankly, if Rush said it was raining in Cleveland you'd better go check the Weather Channel before you believe it.

A great American what?
Have you heard this joke? What's the difference between Rush Limbaugh and the Hindenburg? One's an enormous flaming Nazi gas bag and the other's a blimp.

Nice montage of course the song became instantly changed in message when Baez performed it at Woodstock. Roger and Gram wrote to make fun of WSM-Radio's Ralph Emery because he wouldn't play their version of "You Ain't Going Nowhere" on his all night show. Emery was cutting truck commercials as he interviewed them and dismissed them somewhat rudely, but who can complain with multiple messages.
