In 2009, the Indian Government launched a major anti-Maoist offensive
in forest areas Operation Green Hunt. Fact-finding investigations
have uncovered the atrocities security forces are committing in these areas,
but now those very findings are being questioned.

This 10-minute preview contains interviews with victims and
their testimony about what is happening in Chhattisgarh.
The clear intention of the State - to wipe out all resistance
through terror in the name of fighting the Maoists -
is demonstrated in this film.

  • Let them live you greedy politicians and corporates...................

  • @jghgfghj I agree! However, Socialism isnt created in a vaccum! A corrupt government (even one perceived to be corrupt) will end having a movement that intends on defending itself.......and one ultimate solution is to replace the leadership or power structure with one that wont oppress! Just cause somone's actions are bad, does not mean that their motivations are.

  • what should the government due accourding to the maoists? does maoism and your socialism bring any good to the world at all. greedy capatilism has false, but pure socialism is worse. maoists are the once who are stopping devolepment of rural areas by attacks since 50 years. they should use the money they buy guns with to help the poor.

  • Maosim like Leninism like Marxism is a reaction , usually violent, to corrupt and greedy governments. Doesnt make it right, safe, or acceptable, but if the governments dont start looking at the causes instead of the effects, you will see more socialism across the globe in years to come.

  • There are plenty of examples where the people just get displaced as they do not get jobs... I think the notion of development needs to be re-looked... it is time we stopped raping mother nature for one persons greed... it is time to think of alternatives... the tribals are quiet happy the way they are all the need is some schools close by and easy access to medical care... they are not asking for money... we normally equate development with additional money... that is flawed...

  • What you are showing is just one part of the story, What is going on with Para military forces and CISF there is not shown, what naxals are doing is not shown.

If not the force, then how will those people be developed, do u want to justify tribal people should remain as it is, and be just tourist attraction. What shouldn't that area be developed, when it has resources, at the end people living there will be the first to get the job, and be a part of normal life style, what's wrong in that.
